LoDo Walking Tour

Explore the streets of the popular walking district known as LoDo (Lower Downtown). While there, have a drink at Denver's oldest craft brewery, one of the most popular tap houses, and a famous steakhouse.
A
12pm
Wynkoop Brewing Company
Founded in 1988 and residing in a classic brick 19th century building, this is the oldest craft brewer in the city. The beers here run the gamut: From standards Rail Yard Ale, B3K Black Lager and Silverback Pale Ale, to the more experimental barrel-aged, sours, and a few guest taps. Wynkoop isn't afraid to push the envelope; just try the "Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout" -- a very ballsy creation!
B
2pm
Falling Rock Tap House
See the road sign warning you of Falling Rock? It means you've found 75+ taps of ever-rotating, high quality craft beer. East Coast, West Coast, Colorado, Europe. The very ambiance screams beer, with 2200 empty beer bottles lining the walls of the bar, creating the feel of a beer museum. There is varied seating: booths, tables, bar and outdoor patio, all in a rustic bar setting.
C
5pm
Denver ChopHouse and Brewery
A famous steak place that brews beer too! This place is classy, upscale, jazzy, and practically next door to Coors Field. You'll find about nine taps -- a lot of German and a bit of Belgian, alongside the more standard American ales. And as the hosts of the Avalanche Stanley Cup and Broncos Super Bowl parties, you never know who you might find at the ChopHouse.
Tours are self-guided. Suggested times above valid Monday through Saturday. Tap room hours subject to change.
